Itinerary
Our driver will pick you up at your hotel or villa at 09:00 or 13:00, depending on your choice for the morning or afternoon program.
Depending on the itinerary of the day, we visit the Big Buddha on the northeast tip of Koh Samui first. You can walk up to the viewpoint with beautiful views over the bay or buy some souvenirs downstairs.
Our next stop is Wat Plai Laem, a beatiful temple complex with large statues. The lake around it is full of fish. You can visit the temples or feed the fish here. Fish food can be bought at one of the stalls for a small fee.
On the way to the east, the Koh Samui island tour continues past Chaweng. We stop here at the viewpoint, from where you can see all of Chaweng beach. Take photos, enjoy a nice coconut ice cream (not included but very tasty) and we are on our way to the south.
This beautiful rock formation is located close to Lamai beach and is one of the most famous sights of Koh Samui. Enjoy the beautiful scenery here.
Our next stop is Wat Khunnaram, the location of the mummified monk. You can see him in the temple.
In the south we visit Namuang waterfall 1 or 2, depending on which one has more water. During and after the rainy season the waterfalls will be flowing rapidly. In dry season there is a lot less. If you want, you can take a swim here. Please bring a swimming suit and towel if you intend to.
We take a short visit to Nathon town, the governmental area of Koh Samui. You can see the old town and market here. This is also the location from where a lot of ferries leave for the mainland.
Our air conditioned minivan brings you back to your hotel or villa on Koh Samui. The half day island tour comes to an end. A day full of sights to remember!
