Itinerary
We’ll meet at your hotel reception or villa between 07:30 and 08:30, depending on your location. Our driver will pick you up in an air conditioned minivan. From there we head to the pier in the north of Koh Samui where the Angthong Marine Park tour starts
We arrive at the pier where you can enjoy a light breakfast snack and coffee, tea or water.
We board the speedboat with a maximum of 35 persons and set course west for our Angthong Marine Park tour. The boat has a large sun shade so you can enjoy the views from the shadow. It’s also possible to sit up front in the sun if you wish. The trip to Angthong Marine Park takes around 1 hour.
We arrive at Koh Wau for a snorkeling experience (mask & snorkel included). Enjoy the colourful fish on the reef. Don’t feel like snorkeling? Head over to the beach, relax and enjoy the surroundings.
After a short hike on Koh Wau we arrive at the Emerald Lake (Thalay Nai). This salt water lake is one of the highlights of the tour as it is bright green and surrounded by limestone cliffs. If you don’t want to hike up , you can also stay on the beach to enjoy snorkeling or go kayaking in the mangroves around the island (included in the price).
We board the speedboat for a very short ride to Koh Wua Ta Lap (also called Sleeping Cow island). Here you can hike up to the viewpoint, from where you will have an amazing view over the 42 islands. Be sure to bring a camera as the views are stunning! Next we’ll head down to the beach for a delicious Thai style buffet lunch. After lunch you can keep enjoying the islands by snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or just chilling down on the beach.
At 15:00 it’s time to leave this beautiful place. Our speedboat takes us back to Koh Samui in about an hour. Enjoy the views, the blue waters. If you’re really lucky you might spot one of the whales or dolphins that inhabit these waters!
We arrive back at the pier in the north of Koh Samui. Our air conditioned minivans are awaiting you for the return transfer to your hotel or villa. The Angthong Marine Park tour ends here. You should be back home no later than 17:00.

For lunch during the Angthong Marine Park tour you can expect a delicious Thai style buffet. You’ll have several (halal) choices like a curry, Pad Thai, stir fried, chicken & eggs and a dessert. The food is halal. If you have any specific food allergies, please let us know prior to booking this tour.
The breakfast isn’t too extensive, it’s smart to have a decent breakfast at your hotel or villa prior to the pickup. On the pier you’ll find coffee, tea and water and a small selection of snacks to get your day started.
The best time to visit Angthong Marine Park is just after the rainy season between February and March. The temperatures are pleasant: blue skies and calm waters (apart from a rare weather disruption). The months of april and may are sunny and hot, the summer is a bit cooler. An Angthong Marine park tour is not possible during most of the rainy season, between 1 november and 15 december as the park is closed during that time.
The viewpoint of Angthong Marine park can be reached after a quite intensive climb up. The road up can be challenging to small children and elderly persons. Please make sure to wear sensible footwear and hold on the available tight ropes at all times. The climb up takes about 15 minutes and is totally worth it: the views from the top are stunning!
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date, no questions asked. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

Good trip but it was busy at the park (august 2023). Well organized but would go again in low season
This is a must see and one of the highlights of our vacation on Koh Samui. We booked the tour and received a pickup time by email. Pickup was on time and the boat trip comfortable enough for both adults and kids in our group. The viewpoint is a must, as well as snorkeling and kayaking. We just loved it, will visit again!
Visited the park with 4 friends during the hot season. The weather and seas were perfectly calm, which was nice (although blazing hot). As it’s still quiet on the islands this seemed like a perfect time to visit. Friendly staff and good food: all in all a nice trip to do during a vacation here.
Lovely trip to the national marine park. The boat trip takes a while but the views are amazing. We enjoyed the viewpoint and the food the most. This is a must visit when visiting Thailand.
Very bumpy ride! I understand it is rainy season but we were not comfortable with 2 children on board. Everything else was beautiful and the sea was quiet on the way back.
