Itinerary

We’ll meet at your hotel reception or villa between 07:30 and 08:30, depending on your location. An air conditioned minivan will bring you to the pier in Bophut.

We arrive at Bophut pier where you can enjoy a light breakfast snack and coffee, tea or water.

We board the speedboat with sun shade and head to Koh Tao. This should take around 1 hour, depending on the weather conditions. Enjoy the views of the Gulf of Thailand and Koh Samui while we pass Koh Phangan on our way north.

Arrival at Koh Tao, where we find a suitable bay for snorkeling. The exact location is dependant on the season and weather conditions. We enter either Mango bay, Hin Wong bay or Lighthouse bay where you can use our snorkeling equipment to check out the amazing underwater life.

After snorkeling the clear waters it’s time to head to the shore for a Thai style lunch. In the restaurant you can enjoy a range of Thai dishes, typically rice and curries, chicken and pad thai. Halal food options are available.

We head to Koh Nang Yuan, where you can relax on the beach, climb to the viewpoint and go snorkeling at the Japanese garden. We’ll have enough time to do all three activities. Relax, take pictures and enjoy the beautiful surroundings here!

At 15:00 it’s time to leave beautiful Koh Tao & Nang Yuan. Our speedboat takes us back to Koh Samui in about 90 minutes. On the way back you can relax on the boat, see flying fish or sunbathe in the front of the boat. Water is provided on the way back.

We arrive back at Bophut pier in the north of Koh Samui. Our drivers will bring you back in air conditioned minivans to your hotel or villa on the island. You should arrive there no later than 17:00, depending on the road conditions.

For lunch you can expect a delicious Thai style buffet. You’ll have several (halal) choices like a curry, pad thai, stir fried, chicken & eggs and a dessert. The food is halal. If you have any specific food allergies, please let us know prior to booking this tour.

The breakfast isn’t too extensive, it’s smart to have a decent breakfast at your hotel or villa prior to the pickup. On the pier you’ll find coffee, tea and water and a small selection of snacks to get your day started.

The best time to visit Koh Tao is after the rainy season and when the waters are calm. This is usually the case between february/march and august, but weather conditions may vary. You’ll find clear waters during the hot season in april and may, but make sure to bring sun screen as it can be very hot! The speedboat is equipped with a sun cover.

The viewpoint of Koh Nang Yuan is accessible from the beach between the small island in the south. The road up can be challenging to small children and elderly persons. Please make sure to wear sensible footwear and hold on the available tight ropes at all times. The climb up takes about 15 minutes and is totally worth it: the views from the top are stunning!

You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date, no questions asked. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

We went on a sunny day and enjoyed the tour. Be prepared that it’s busy on the small island next to Koh Tao, but i understand why. It’s stunning. Snorkeling was good, guide could have been better. Worth the value imo.

We went during rainy season and were a bit afraid of the trip because of the weather, but aside from a bit of rain the trip was pretty smooth. Going in rainy season also means there’s way less tourists than our last visit in february 2017. Good organisation of the trip, nice food. The only downside was the entry fee that seemed 5x higher than our last trip!

    Lovely day but mass operation

The boats were big and fast- and it is definitely worth to go a day snorkeling to Koh Tao. It is however truly a mass tourism operation- 40 people by boat, all a bit crowded.

What an amazing day! The crew was incredibly friendly, and the day went off without a hitch. We got to visit some fantastic places and had an absolutely awesome time snorkeling. And let me tell you, the lunch we had at Koh Tao was delicious! They even made sure to keep us refreshed with drinks on the boat between stops.

    Best snorkeling

The boat ride was quite long, about 1.5 hours, but it was absolutely worth it. The snorkeling experience was hands down the best we’ve ever had. The tour was impressively efficient and well-organized. If you tend to get seasick, I’d definitely recommend taking some Dramamine before the trip. We only wish we had more time to spend on the first island because it was incredibly beautiful. And the hike we went on was totally worth it for the stunning view we got to enjoy.
