Itinerary
We will start our private Jeep safari and jungle tour by picking you up from your hotel or villa between 09:30 and 10:00. Our Jeeps will arrive promptly at the scheduled time to begin your adventure!
Our first destination is the renowned Grandfather & Grandmother rocks north of Lamai. Known in Thai as Hin Ta & Hin Yai, these unique rock formations resemble a phallus and a hole, providing a fascinating start to our journey.
Next, we'll marvel at the imposing Guan Yu statue, a recent addition to the island's attractions. This enormous Chinese warrior statue is both impressive and powerful, a sight you won't forget.
On our way to the south of Koh Samui, we'll stop at Wat Khunaram to visit the mummified monk. Preserved since 1973, this monk’s remains are a sight of cultural and historical significance.
Continuing our journey, we'll head to Namuang Waterfall. Here, you'll have the chance to swim and relax in the natural pool, especially delightful during or after the rainy season. This spot offers one of the best photo opportunities of the tour.
The private jeep will take us up the mountain for a delicious Thai style lunch at one of the highest restaurants on Koh Samui. Enjoy a number of typical Thai dishes and the amazing 270 degrees viewpoint.
Our adventure continues after lunch as we visit Mr. Tanim's Buddha Garden. This hidden gem, featuring 21 Buddha statues in various forms and poses, is a serene and spiritual site.
Reaching the peak of our tour, we'll visit Wat Pra Putta Teepangkorn, the highest point on the island. Here, you can climb the giant Buddha statue or stay at the temple, both offering incredible views over most of Koh Samui.
As our tour nears its end, we'll make a special stop at the Big Buddha, an iconic and revered landmark on the island. This is a must-see destination that encapsulates the spirit of Koh Samui.
Finally, around 16:30 - 17:00, we'll begin our journey back to your hotel. Our Jeeps will ensure a comfortable return trip, dropping you off around 17:00, just in time for your evening plans. We offer a variety of Thai dishes for lunch, catering to both vegetarians and those requiring halal meals. If you have any specific dietary needs or food allergies, please inform us prior to the start of the tour so we can accommodate your requirements.
Due to the bumpy nature of the mountainous terrain, we advise against participation for pregnant individuals, those over 70, or anyone with existing health conditions. Additionally, children under 2 years old are not permitted on this tour for safety reasons.
Swimming at Namuang Waterfall is most enjoyable during or after the rainy season, typically from October to January. The conditions are less favorable during the hot season, from March to May, due to lower water levels. We recommend bringing a swimsuit and a towel if you plan to swim.
