Do you want to visit an elephant sanctuary on Koh Samui but without spending there a half or full day? Join us on a 1-hour elephant care & feeding program at Samui Elephant Home! This tour runs every morning and is a great way to see and feed the elephants that were rescued from labour camps. We'll start by picking you up directly from your hotel, 30-45 minutes before the tour starts. Hop into our vehicle, and we'll whisk you away to the Samui Elephant Home, a scenic drive through the lush landscapes of Koh Samui.

Pickup from your hotel or villa
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or villa anywhere on the island, about 30 - 45 minutes before the tour starts. We drive southwards to Samui Elephant Home,
When we arrive, our guide will say hello and explain what we'll be doing. You'll also meet the elephants, which is pretty cool!
We'll show you how to make food for the elephants. We'll use bananas, pumpkins, sticky rice, and special salt that's good for them.
After we make the food, you get to feed the elephants. Plus, you can take pictures with them. It's a fun and friendly time!
Sadly, we have to say bye to the elephants, but you'll have some amazing memories.
We'll take you back to your hotel, so you can relax and think about the great time you had with the elephants. Join us for a fantastic day with these wonderful elephants!

At Samui Elephant Home, we've made a safe and happy place for elephants that used to work a lot or were treated badly in the past. Now, we've opened our doors to everyone so you can hang out with these lovely elephants. Our next big plan is to make the first elephant hospital on Koh Samui. But to do that, we need to find really good doctors and get more money. You can help by visiting or sanctuary, even if it's just a short trip to feed the elephants. Our main goal is to help take care of these big, gentle creatures. Come visit us at Samui Elephant Home and spend some close and personal time with them. This tour is suitable for all ages. Kids will love it!
FAQs
At Samui Elephant Home we let the animals completely be themselves. This is a park where you can prepare food, feed them and walk with the elephants. It is mostly an observing experience, which is best for both you and the elephants.
Absolutely! Your children will love interacting with the elephants and can learn a lot from preparing their food and feeding them. We think it's a great idea to show them at a young age that elephants are not meant to be used for hard work but should be part of nature. That's where they feel free and comfortable. You don't have to book tickets for children below 4 years old as they are free to join if they are accompanied by at least one paying adult.
We are open year-round, rain or sunshine. The elephants enjoy the rain as they can have fun in the mud and water. Don’t worry about the weather: if it’s necessary we’ll provide raincoats and umbrellas. Visiting Samui Elephant Sanctuary during a rainy day is something special!
No. A booking for our morning or afternoon tour is required in advance before arriving at the sanctuary.
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.
