Pickup from your hotel or villa
Pickup window10:30–11:00The pickup from your hotel or villa is between 10:30 - 11:00. Our driver will pick you up from the reception in an air-conditioned minivan and drive you to the pier in the north of Samui (Bangrak).
We board Chantara for the cruise to Koh Phangan. Lunch is served on board before we arrive at our first stop: Koh Ma.
We arrive at Koh Ma reef to go snorkeling, swimming and/or fishing. Enjoy a drink in the sunshine on one of the sun beds or explore the underwater world.
We arrive at one of Phangan's best beaches, which is usually Tong Nai Pan. This depends on the weather and currents as it’s not always possible to circle Koh Phangan. In that case we arrive at a quiet beach on the west coast. Here you can enjoy a massage, relax on the beach or explore the area around it.
At 17:00, it’s time to board the boat and enjoy some appetizers on the way back. When the skies are clear you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on the way back. Junk Chantara takes between 1.5-2 hours to get back to the pier on Koh Samui.
- Drop-off window19:00–19:30

FAQs
Lunch is served on board and is a typical Thai-style buffet lunch. Think of a Pad Thai, rice dishes, curries and meat or fish. Vegetarian and halal options are available during this tour. The price includes water and non-alcoholic (soft) drinks.
Chantara can sail in any weather, but for your safety the boat won’t sail during high waves. As Thailand is a tropical country, it can rain frequently. That doesn’t stop us from going out as most rain showers end as quickly as they start.
The best time to visit Koh Phangan on this cruise is between January and September, when the seas are usually calm and there is a lot of sunshine. During rainy season the seas can get a bit rough, but most of the days are good enough to sail.
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.
To keep the ride safe, this tour is not suitable for back problems, heart conditions or pregnant women. If that could apply to anyone in your group, contact us before booking and we will help you find a better fit.

Took the trip in july 2022 with wife and 2 kids. We enjoyed it, good lunch and selection of drinks on board. The snorkeling wasn’t amazing but good snorkeling spots are hard to find in Thailand. We had a lovely day and ditto sunset. Recommended trip.
